Xiaomi Will Release Redmi Note 8 2021 Due To Solid 25 Million Sales Of The 2019 Model

Xiaomi India has recently officially confirmed that the company has successfully sold 200 million Redmi Note series smartphones. Shortly after the announcement, the company announced that the popular Redmi Note 8 series had sold 25 million copies worldwide.

The Redmi Note 8 series smartphones are one of the company’s most popular and sought-after phones. We were previously told that Xiaomi is returning its Note 8 with some improvements.

With the release of 25 million mobile phones, Xiaomi has officially confirmed the arrival of the Redmi Note 8 in 2021. While the company hasn’t confirmed details about the upcoming phones, we already know some of them.

This device recently received Bluetooth certification confirming that the new Note 8 2021 would replace Bluetooth 5.0 instead of Bluetooth 5.2. The FCC certification shows the features that we can’t even imagine in this device, which was introduced in August 2019.

According to the FCC listing, the phone model number M1908C3JGG is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, an MIUI 12.5 operating system based on Android 11, a 4000 mAh battery, and 4 GB RAM + 128 GB internal memory.

In addition, the original Redmi Note 8 was launched with the MIUI 10 operating system based on Android 9 (Pie). It later received four major updates and is currently running the MIUI 12 operating system based on Android 11.

In addition to the software, it is also equipped with a 6.3-inch IPS LCD screen, Snapdragon 665 SoC, and a 4000 mAh battery. The four-camera setup includes a 48 MP wide main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, 2 MP depth, and another 2 MP macro sensor. On the front is a 13 MP selfie shooter.
