S21 Ultra camera update – If you own a Samsung Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, or S21 Ultra, it is probably worth checking the status of your system update as a new update is being introduced that will bring some significant improvements to your smartphone.
Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G that will increase the flagship’s Android security patch level to May 1, 2021. In addition, the new build improves the camera and fast-sharing functionality.
The new firmware has version number G998BXXU3AUDA and requires a download of approximately 1.2 GB. We are currently seeding in Germany and we expect the rollout to expand in other countries soon.
As some users in Europe have noted (and reported from Gizchina), the May security patch for Galaxy S21 phones is currently being rolled out. The installation menu informs us about the new functions.

The main improvement is that it improves camera performance – we don’t really know what those improvements will look like, but the wording suggests the camera app will be faster to use.
Other changes include security updates, bug fixes, and improvements to the speed of Quick Share, which allows you to share the files on your phone with other Samsung devices. This can be useful if you have a business laptop or tablet.
How To Download The New Galaxy S21 Update
Samsung Galaxy S21 users in Europe are reporting the launch of the update for the three eligible phones, and other regions are likely to receive it soon.
To update your phone with the new tools, go to the Settings app and find the Software Update option. See if you can still update your phone or if you are using the latest software available for your phone.
While this Galaxy S21 software update doesn’t revolutionize the way you use your phone, upgrades are always welcome, especially if they improve the phone’s speed.
