Samsung Galaxy A10e Design And Display

The Samsung Galaxy A10e has a size of 155.6 x 75.6 x 7.9 mm and weighs 168 grams. The smartphone is available in different colors of black, blue, and red.

However, Samsung decides to offer more color options in the future. The device is neither waterproof nor dustproof. But, you can get a protective Samsung Galaxy A10e case online.

In the display area, you get a beautiful IPS LCD touchscreen with up to 16 million colors. The screen size is 5.83 inches, with a screen-to-body ratio of 81.4%.

As with the A10, the screen resolution is 720 x 1520 pixels with multi-touch support for up to ten fingers.

Hardware And Software

The Galaxy A10e comes with the latest Android 9.0 Pie. The software should work properly.

There is also an Exynos 7884 chipset with an octa-core processor and a Mali G71 MP2 GPU. Speaking of memory or storage capacity, it has 2 GB of RAM.

The 16 GB internal storage can be expanded up to 512 GB. This device is featured with accelerometer and proximity sensors.

Audio, Call, And Network Quality

The Galaxy A10e is unlocked and available from all major carriers. The unlocked version supports LTE bands 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/14/17/20/25/26/28/29/30/66/71.

Network speeds on Cricket (which uses AT&T’s network) were poor during testing. In a dozen tests, the phone consistently hit average speeds of just 4.84 Mbps down and 1.61 Mbps up.

Call quality is reasonable. The volume of the headphones peaks at 84 dB, which is loud enough to be heard on busy streets. The test calls were correct, but with static and truncated words. Noise cancellation worked well in most conditions, but on a few phone calls, construction noise crept in.

The maximum speaker volume is 89dB, which can easily fill a room, but it sounds tiny and muddy at almost any volume. At higher volumes, there is noticeable noise and distortion. Fortunately, there is a 3.5mm jack and Bluetooth 5.0 for wired or wireless headphones.

The phone also supports dual-band Wi-Fi, but not NFC.

Samsung Galaxy A10e Camera And Battery
