According to reports, one of the cheapest smartphones from Samsung, the Galaxy A02, will get a successor with several upgrades. It is expected to be called Galaxy A03s and the leak has detailed photos and important specifications.
Samsung appears to be planning to launch the successor to the Galaxy A02 smartphone, which launched last November. The new offering from the South Korean tech giant series would be the Samsung Galaxy A03. Pending the company’s official confirmation, there are several rumors and reports about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A series. The latest look of the device comes from 91mobiles (via @OnLeaks), which has leaked both the design and core specs of the Samsung Galaxy A03.
Samsung Galaxy A03s Designed and Spec
For starters, the handset has a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a USB-C port on the bottom. This is a big deal as the predecessor didn’t have a fingerprint reader at all and came with a dated micro USB.
The source claims that the Samsung Galaxy A03s will come with a 6.5-inch display in terms of specifications. On the front, the phone offers a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. At the rear, the new Galaxy A series offering would offer a triple primary camera setup with a 13-megapixel main sensor, which is accompanied by two 2-megapixel lenses.
In terms of design, the leaked images from the source suggest that the Samsung Galaxy A03s will get a water drop above the screen. On the back, the phone offers a triple primary camera setup that is housed in a square module in the top left corner on the back.
As far as we can tell from the renderings, the Samsung Galaxy A03s will inherit design elements from the Galaxy A02s, its predecessor. The report also suggests that the new Galaxy A Series offering will measure 166.6 x 75.9 x 9.1mm (9.5mm including camera bump). The phone would also come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a micro USB port.
Samsung has not yet announced when the Galaxy A03 will be on the market. However, as the alleged images and specifications of the handset are not available, we can expect it to be officially launched soon.
