When I wrote this post I remembered that a friend of mine asked me for my MTN phone number and I couldn’t answer.

You can imagine how embarrassing it was for me that day and I had to google for the method to check my MTN phone number. It’s hard to keep track of numbers in these temporary SIM cards that we use every day, especially if you threw away the SIM pack after purchase.

Your cell phone numbers associated with each SIM card purchased are unique to you and personal to most people, but if for some reason you don’t remember your phone number, it’s best to store it in your phone for easy access.

The Easiest Method To Check Your Phone Number

Code To Check My MTN Number

To check my MTN number, dial * 123 #, select option 1, and send to My Tools Option. Then select option 5 in My Tools to request My Number or you can dial the shortcode to check mtn number * 663 # and your number will be conveniently displayed on the phone screen.

Code to Check Glo Number

The code to check glo number in Nigeria is * 135 * 8 # and your number will be displayed on the screen. Globacom users can also check their phone numbers by dialing: 1244. Airtel Number Check Code

You can check your Airtel phone number by using the Airtel phone number check code *746# you’ll get your number if you dial the Airtel number check code. Also, to check your Airtel number, you can dial the other Airtel phone number check code * 121 #, and follow the on-screen instructions to check my Airtel number.

Select 1 and send for the My Account option. At the next prompt, select option 1 and send as My number to know my Airtel number, and your number will be displayed on the screen for you.

Code to check your 9mobile phone number

9mobile has officially taken over from Etisalat. To check your phone number on the 9mobile network, dial * 248 #
