Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Could Launch in August, According To Leaked Roadmap

On the same day that the Samsung Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52 5G, and A72 was unveiled at a Samsung Unpacked event, a leaked “mini roadmap” claims that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be launched at a similar event in August.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition) is the rumored sequel to last year’s Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, a more affordable version of that year’s flagship phones released later in the year in October 2020.

But according to this “mini-roadmap,” published by noted leaker Evan Blass in a Voice post, it means we’ll be seeing the S21 FE much earlier in the year than its predecessor.

Why should the launch window for the S21 FE be several months ahead? Possibly because Samsung’s CEO strongly hinted that the next Samsung Galaxy Note 21 will be delayed to 2022, which will leave a gap in the company’s launch line. Given that Note phones generally drop in August, Blass’s roadmap suggests the Samsung S21 FE will replace it on August 19 if the leak is true.

Are other Samsung products arriving?

Blass’s mini roadmap offered possible release dates for other products to be released this year. Notably, it predicts there will be an Unpacked event dedicated to PCs on April 14, likely referring to more Chrome-powered Galaxy Chromebooks and/or Windows Galaxy Book laptops.

The roadmap also foresees an affordable launch of the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite sometime in June, along with a follow-up to the cheapest Samsung Galaxy A21 phones, the Galaxy A22 and Galaxy A22 5G, in July.

Finally, Blass claimed that another phone will be released this year that wasn’t on the roadmap: the Samsung Galaxy A82 5G, a continuation of the Galaxy A80 2019 phone that used the same front and rear cameras.
