The Samsung Galaxy A52 (the 4G version) will be updated in some regions, the 5G model will also receive new firmware. The content of these updates varies – the ones in the UK and India focus on the security patch, most in Indonesia have further improvements.
The changelog for the Indonesian firmware can be found here. The highlight is an update to the camera app that improves image quality and improves the overall experience. Additionally, Portrait mode now has high-key mono, low-key mono, and background effects that replace the background. Such modes are available on premium devices such as the Note20 Ultra and S21 series.
There is more. The A525FXXU1AUD2 update also improves call quality and touchscreen stability. And of course, it will include a new security patch on April 1st. This is a relatively minor update, just over 400MB.
New updates for the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A52 5G
The update for India only includes the security patch and is still over 700MB in size.
The Galaxy A52 5G is being updated in the UK. The camera and a few other improvements are missing, although users should have a more stable experience (in addition to the April 1 security patch).
