The curved edges of the screen have been in fashion for some time now, but the latest OPPO prototype display prototype propels it to another level.
OPPO’s new “cascading screen” extends the screen almost to the sides of the device. The results are that there is no visible side cover when the screen is viewed from the front and some questions. Where will the physical buttons go? Can I hold it without touch the response involuntary? What types of rituals take place in OPPO research laboratories?
Also, although the screen looks really impressive, the sides are ultimately useless. If they are not interactive, they simply exhaust the screen, without any real benefit. But at least you’ll have the highest display/screen ratios in the block.
OPPO is not a company that is afraid to put concepts in the retail market, so this screen design could be broadcast on a future device. If you believe other teasers, a new OPPO phone could also include a selfie camera under display.
