Samsung Galaxy A51 is Getting One UI 3.0 Update

Samsung has kept its promise to update older devices with the latest One UI 3.0. The company has implemented left, right and middle OTAs on Galaxy M, A, S, and Note devices. Recently, the Galaxy F41 and M21 also received the One UI Core 3.0 update. Today, another A-series device gets One UI 3.0, this time it’s the Galaxy A51.

According to a Sammobile report, the Samsung Galaxy A51 is receiving an update with the firmware version A515FXXU4DUB1 in Russia. This update includes One UI 3.0 based on Android 11 and the latest security patch. As a reminder, the Galaxy A51 was originally slated to receive it only in March 2021.

As mentioned above, Samsung caught fire and released the update faster, which also has the February 2021 security patch. As for Android 11 features, you can witness new chat (conversations) comics, controls multimedia, improved permission management, and organized notifications.

While Samsung’s latest UI is One UI 3.1, One UI 3.0 offers a decent upgrade over its predecessor, One UI 2.5. Some of these are UI and icon improvements, dark mode, digital wellbeing, and parental controls, and other AOD visual styles, etc.

Samsung has updated models like Galaxy A71, S20, Note 20, Note 10, S10 series, and budget devices like Galaxy M31, M21, F41, and others. The list is only getting bigger. By the way, the Galaxy A51’s horizon will widen over the next few days, so don’t panic if your device doesn’t have it yet.
