Infinix Hot S5 Price, Specs and Features In Nigeria and India

As the Infinix Hot S4 is still on the rise in the Nigerian and India market, Infinix Mobile is preparing to launch another economical Android smartphone called Infinix Hot S5 codenamed Infinix-X652. This next device appeared on Google Play Console, revealing some of the key specs. Well, you might say it’s too early to see another addition to the Hot series, as the latest Hot S4 and even the latest infinix Hot 8 are still fresh on the market. But Infinix doesn’t think so.

The Infinix S5 features a 6.6 inch HD + Super Cinema 2.5D curved glass screen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a hole design, a 3D glass pattern design on the back, and a screen/body ratio. 90.5%. It comes equipped with Mediatek’s 2.0Ghz octa-core Helio P22 (12nm) processor and 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The device also comes with an option to expand storage up to 256 GB via a microSD card.

The Infinix S5 has been in progress for some time and was recently seen on a Google Play Console list revealing key specs, including the chipset and front panel design. Now we learned from a reliable source that the price of Infinix S5 in India will be below Rs 10,000. This will make the next S5, making it just the second brand on the market to offer quad-rear cameras below Rs 10,000 after Realme 5. We know the Infinix S5 India release date is October 15th and the smartphone will be available via Flipkart.

The Infinix Hot S5 price in Nigeria is expected to be around N46,000 for the basic 4GB / 64GB internal storage variant and could be released on October 18, 2019. The device will be available in Black and Gold color options.

As for the Infinix S5 specifications, we already know that the smartphone will be equipped with the MediaTek Helio P22 processor, combined with up to 4 GB of RAM and storage of up to 64 GB. The smartphone will have a 32-megapixel selfie camera housed in a hole in the screen in the upper right corner. The custom user interface based on Android 9 Pie will be part of the package and the screen will have an HD + resolution (720 x 1,600 pixels). Finally, we know that Infinix S5 cameras will include low light, wide-angle, portrait, and macro sensors.

On the front of the camera, the Infinix S5 comes loaded with a 16 megapixel AI Quad rear camera configuration as the main sensor, a 5MP wide lens, a super macro lens, and a depth sensor along with the four LED flash. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel screen selfie AI sensor with Big Pixel technology (4 in 1 pixel) and a large f / 2.0 aperture. The phone comes with a 4000mAh battery with AI power management. The S5 houses a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and runs on Android 9.0 pie based on XOS 5.5. Connectivity options will include a 3 in 1 (Dual Nano SIM card slot along with a dedicated micro SD card slot), VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS and a MicroUSB port.

The Infinix Hot S5 (X652) can come with a polycarbonate body design, sleek and shiny gradient finish. The Infinix Hot S4, which is a trend, has a waterdrop notch that houses the front camera, but in this Hot S5, it can have a hole just in the upper left side of the screen. The volume controls and the power button are seen in the right column and there is a considerable chin under the screen.

In terms of display, the Google Play Console list reveals that the phone gets a normal screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, which is exactly the same resolution as the latest Infinix Hot 8 with a 6.52-inch screen. Although both prices may differ, we believe the display may be the same size. The list also suggests that the screen can be HD + with a screen density of 320 DPI.

There will be a fingerprint sensor on the back, which will have a standard design and a glass back panel. The image on Flipkart shows the volume balance, and the power button is present in the right column.

The Infinix S5 smartphone may be a budget offer to tackle the Redmi 8A and Realme 5 smartphones. Unfortunately, details about screen size, battery capacity, and exact pricing are not disclosed at this time.
