How can I save a YouTube video as audio-only MP3 files?

Sometimes you can download YouTube videos but only save the audio track.
This shows you how to download YouTube videos as MP3 files on your PC or Mac.
Step 1: Install ClipGrab
First of all, you must install ClipGrab. ClipGrab is a 100% free and easy-to-use YouTube downloader and is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Click here to download ClipGrab
Step 2: Copy the video link
Once you have set ClipGrab, you can launch the program.
Now, copy the URL of the video you want to download. To do this, select the link of the video in the address bar of your browser and press Ctrl + C (or Cmd + C if you are on a Mac).
Step 3: Insert the video link into ClipGrab
After copying the link, switch to the ClipGrab window. On the “Downloads” tab, insert the copied link in the input field. You can do this by pressing Ctrl + V (or Cmd + V if you are on a Mac).
ClipGrab will now collect all necessary information about the video and you can proceed to the next step.

Step 4: Choose MP3 as the destination format
Before starting the download, select the “MP3 (audio only)” input in the “Format” checkbox
If you want the audio file insufficient, choose at least 480p from the “Quality” drop-down menu.
Step 5: Take it!
All you have to do now is to click “Grab this clip!” Button. You are prompted to select a filename and download starts immediately after that.
Once ClipGrab has finished downloading your video, it will automatically be converted and saved as an MP3 file on your computer.
