Design and Display

Infinix has grown a lot, from the wide notch to the waterdrop style they have in today’s Hot 8.. The 6.52-inch IPS display may look huge, but it becomes manageable with a 20: 9 aspect ratio.
In the same vein, this screen is impressive, with almost 82% of the space covered about the smartphone body in front.
Enough of the front for now.
At the back of the Infinix Hot 8, we have a triple camera horizontal arrangement that we saw more often than we would like to mention just this year. Infinix keeps the fingerprint scanner on the back even though it may have been moved under the screen or hidden in the side of the phone.
Noteworthy, however, is that the back of this phone is made of glass. We would never have expected such premium treatment on a phone of this level.
With Quetzal Cyan, Cosmic Purple, Shark Gray, and Midnight Black color choices, Infinix Hot 8 achieves good design points.

Infinix Hot 8 Camera

An 8-megapixel snapper on the front of Infinix Hot 8 will meet your selfie needs. We didn’t think it would take the best selfies out there, but it should be fairer than most.
In the back, however, we have some excellent challenges. The main 13-megapixel sensor is designed for large-scale image capture and will be paired with a 2MP sensor for better depth capture. There is a third sensor (QVGA camera), but that would be for improving low light captures.
Interestingly, the selfie camera comes with its own LED flash, so it will also do well in some low light situations. To improve rear camera perspectives, we have a camera setup with four LEDs.

Hardware, Software, And Other Features

Infinix has decided to test two different chipsets for different Hot 8 configurations. The 2 GB RAM + 32 GB ROM storage option of this affordable Android phone comes with a MediaTek MT6761 Helio A22 chipset, while the 4 GB RAM + option 64 GB ROM will use the MT6762 chipset.
Both chipsets are manufactured using the 12nm process, so they also don’t differ many inefficiencies and operating capacity. However, the former is a quad-core chipset, while the latter is an octa-core SoC.
This means that the second Infinix Hot 8 model with octa-core and 4 GB of RAM is designed for consumers looking for more gaming and multitasking performance.
Regardless of which drive you to choose, you get the Android 9 Pie operating system with internal XOS 5.0 running, paired with the PowerVR GE8320 GPU on the chipset.
Fortunately, Infinix didn’t think of removing the 3.5mm connector from its own drive – and even worked on Dirac Surround Sound for the speakers.
By charging a non-removable 5000mAh battery to match, users will get all the power they need with this device. But then there is no promise of a vision of fast charging technology.
